When stationary waves are set up we have
A.) The phase lag along the path of the wave increases as the distance from the source increases
B.) On the particles in the medium are in the same phase of vibration at all time and distances
C.) The particles with an interval between two consecutive nodes are in the phase but the particles in the two such consecutive intervals are of opposite face

Hint: Music obtained by all musical instruments is the result of formation of stationary waves. These waves do not advance in the medium instead they expand and contract this is why these days are under stationary waves.
Complete step by step solution:
When two progressive waves of same amplitude, same frequency, travelling with the same speed in a line in a bounded medium, but in opposite direction superpose, the resultant wave is called a stationary wave.
This wave does not move with time, that is the energy is not transferred by them. In a stationary wave the medium gets divided into small signals the particles of two consecutive segments. The particles of the two consecutive segments vibrate in opposite phases. All the particles of one segment vibrate in the same phase.
The amplitude of oscillation is that the maximum displacement of a particle at some point of medium is zero; these positions are called nodes.
But a position where the particles have the maximum amplitude of oscillation are called the antinodes.
When two identical progressive waves both transverse and longitudinal travelling along the same path in opposite directions, interfere with each other, by superposition of waves resultant wave obtained in the form of loop, is called a stationary wave.
So we can say that the particles with an interval between two consecutive nodes are in the fever but the particles in the two consecutive intervals are of opposite faces.
Answer- (C)
Note: It is noted that for the formation of the stationary waves, it is essential that the medium is bounded. Stationary wave cannot produce in vacuum. Like progressive waves, stationary waves are also of two kinds longitudinal and transverse. In stretched strings, transverse stationary waves are formed, while in the air column, longitudinal stationary waves are formed.
