 No, I don't agree with the sentence, "To conserve forest we should ban cutting down trees completely." This doesn't mean I am promoting cutting down trees, but just to stop this particular action is of no use because if we stop the cutting of trees then it is not possible to supply the basic necessities of our life. such as paper, woods for various types of construction.

Around 90% of the species comprising various plants and animals flourish in forests. They offer the necessary habitat and support biodiversity. They are the natural purifiers of air and provide food security as well. For all these, forests are required to be conserved.

To meet the umpteen needs of the ever-increasing needs of the human population, one can look for several ways to conserve the forest. Deforestation shouldn't be only prohibited, rather afforestation should be equally encouraged. We can plant more trees and encourage people to do the same by educating them about the importance of trees. Meanwhile, governments and people should cooperate and find alternate methods instead of cutting down trees. Forests are like an essential backup plan on which over 1.5 billion people depend on it's resources. And for that, trees are required to be cut down. But, we should plant the double to mend the loss.
